In order to resolve the stagnation in the Japanese economy and workers’ wages that has persisted for 30 years, it is necessary to identify the causes and solutions. While the causes are often discussed by many scholars, researchers, and critics, not much has been said about specific solutions.
In this blog, I will not merely discuss or enumerate the causes, but will also refer to specific solutions to realize “pay raises”. In other words, the purpose of this blog is not only to refer to the “WHY,” but also to clarify the “HOW”. I would like to emphasize that I will refer to “how to get a pay raise for yourself” so that you can benefit from it as much as possible, rather than “how to get a raise for someone else” that may or may not be useful to you.
Also, I will not take the approach of “how to take profits away from companies and management,” but rather “how to increase the profits of companies and management and use those profits as the basis for pay raises”. In other words, I will consider the issue from the new perspective of “companies and workers,” rather than the traditional “companies vs. workers” structure.
